SCORING BREAKDOWN:
SINGLE: refractor/variation/parallel (non-numbered or ≥ /250)
DOUBLE: refractor/variation/parallel (≥ /5 to /249), or non-numbered auto/relic
TRIPLE: numbered auto/relic (≥ /100)
HOME RUN: numbered auto/relic (≥ /5 to /99)
GRAND SLAM: any 1/1
A run is scored when a baserunner reaches home. A ‘hit’ advances each baserunner by the
number of bases corresponding to the hit (i.e., single moves each runner one base; double
moves each runner two bases; triple moves each runner three bases; home run clears the
bases).
A grand slam scores the equivalent of 4 runs plus an additional run for however many bases are
occupied at the time of the hit (i.e., grand slam with empty bases = 4 runs; with one occupied
base = 5 runs; with two occupied bases = 6 runs, with three occupied bases = 7 runs).
